🍊 Hawu Tante is a Rava Viera, originally hailing from Dalmasca, around the age of 28-29 post-Dawntrail.

APPEARANCE
Hawu has tanned, brown skin and dark brown hair. He has long, sweeping fringe curled into his brows and, layered from haphazard cuts grown out over time, shorter in the undercut and at the base of his neck. He has orange and pink heterochromatic eyes, one of the last remaining effects after Light poisoning on the First.


Notable features include: his dark Viera nose marking, a scar sliced diagonal across his right eye from brow to cheek and the tattooed markings around his eye. He has a soft hook nose and full lips.


At around 6'0'' tall, Hawu is more legs than anything. A more lean build, and thanks to both years of ground work with the Scions and how Hydaelyn's Blessing manifested, his lithe muscle thrums with coiled power. His shoulders seem broad in comparison to the taper of his slim waist and narrow hips. His legs are long, best suited for agility-based fighting. Littered with scars, the most notable one is the starburst across his chest and sternum from his encounter with Zenos in the Ghimlyt Dark.

PERSONALITYHe's on the quiet side. Rarely does he give his opinion first, only when it's desperately needed. Natural born leader, but prefers to be led.When he's comfortable with you, he's wry, on the verge of teasing.As a knight, he's fiercely loyal. The kind of person to throw himself in front of the other should they be in harms way. Self sacrificing to a fault.SOOOOOOOO REPRESSED.

HISTORY^PRE-ARR In the midst of uprisings against Garlean troops in Dalmasca, Hawu's childhood was more traumatic than peaceful. Born to a Rabanastren noble and a roaming Vieran adventurer, he was raised distantly from both. His father pressured him to acclimatise to the new normal of Garlemald rule, whilst his mother had her sights set on getting away from here.*^{POST-CALAMITY} When his father is accused of showing sympathy to a Dalmasca before the Garlean rule, they lose what loose protection they had prior. His mother bundles him off to a waiting ship and makes him abscond from the lands he once called home.The ship is small, and filled with people fleeing the mounting oppression spreading the Royal City. Weeks into the journey, they encounter a storm tenacious and flowing with power he hadn't experienced before.A great sea serpent rises with crackling fury and capsizes the ship, Hawu along with it. A gaping maw, ruby eyes and a sudden, stark realisation that he was drowning were one of his last thoughts.When he comes to, it's on a beach in Thanalan.*^{A REALM REBORN} Ul'dah is vastly similar to Rabanastre, only without the pressing impact of Garlemald inside the city gates. . He learns about the world around him, and all he can think about is how Eorzea seemed so different to Dalmasca. It's through Momodi that he finally catches the eye of the infamous Thancred whilst doing some work for the Adventurer's Guild, and falls in step with him.The Scions of the Seventh Dawn stoke that innate urge to explore, to grow.The migraines start.He faces his fears when he comes face to face with Leviathan once more.Taking down endless primals seems to have no limits with the grandeur it grants him, but that makes the Bloody Banquet all the more staggering.*^HEAVENSWARD Used to warmer climates, the impact of Dalamud's fall on Coerthas wears away at Hawu.Kicked out of the only home he has left, with his face on wanted posters across the nation and the Scions scattered to the wind has him cowering in the walls of Fortemps manor.Under the Fortemps protection and Aymeric's allowance, they lick their wounds in the four walls of Ishgard.*
